The Rockport City Council at its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 28 approved on first reading a new ordinance restricting the locations at which sex offenders can reside.
After reviewing the ordinance more closely, City Attorney Terry Baiamonte suggested three changes which were “substantive,” which forced the council to address the ordinance again on first reading. ..Source..
