6-14-2013 Michigan:
A very unusual law in Michigan:
Crime victims; rights; prohibition against victim disclosing information about conviction that has been set aside; remove. It is odd because it has been on the books for some time, and it allowed the original victim to talk about the crime, but if passed into law, it then would prohibit even the victim from mentioning the crime! The law already prohibits all others from disclosing the crime.
Thinking more about this with respect to sex crimes may even invalidate the registry listing, and any other place that publishes information about past crimes. i.e., background checks.
