MI- East Grand Rapids, Wyoming men caught in online predator sting sentenced to prison

GRAND RAPIDS -- Two area men were sentenced to prison Thursday after they were arrested in a state sting in October targeting online predators.

____, 22, of Wyoming, was sentenced in Kent County Circuit Court to 18 months to 20 years in prison after he pled guilty to using a computer and/or the Internet to communicate to commit a crime. Investigators say ____ communicated with a minor to arrange a meeting for sex at a Grand Rapids Township home.

Under ____'s plea agreement, another computer crime charge and a charge of child sexually abusive activity were dismissed.

____, 24, of East Grand Rapids, was sentenced to 19 months to 20 years after being charged with child sexually abusive activity and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
