9-28-2009 Massachusetts:
The law students at Northeastern School of Law have produced a unique research paper about the effects and consequences registration of sex offenders have on the homeless and public safety.
The general effects of registration have been well documented and recognized (some of which is captured in this article). But the homeless population provides a unique problem not necessarily envisioned by the legislation that negatively effects both them and the public. The paper is thoughtful, well researched, and worth reading. ..To read the paper..
