Since last Thanksgiving when Yahoo began talks with others about Yahoo being sold, none of which has happened, we recognized they were having financial troubles and began moving our best work to blogs and a Wiki. We knew it was just a matter of time because Geocities is a FREE place where folks can create websites, which we did some years ago. Ultimately, all good things come to an end.
Given the popularity of our sites and that it is well known NOW that Yahoo is closing, several folks have offered to host our old sites, and we sincerely appreciate the offers. However, due to the URL structure of the Geocities host, which we had to conform to when the sites were created, today it would be a massive and involved conversion.
The time and effort is not worth it, because the sites are intertwined and much of the information is dated. Accordingly, we have decided, and already are converting the most important information, such as charts, statistics and valuable reports as well. This will continue past the actual date Yahoo removes the sites. Everything is backed up on two other computers, our normal practice.
Now, this announcement will be UPDATED from time to time. In addition, it will be easily accessible from the RED BAR menu on the left (available from all of our blogs) so folks can periodically check for updates.
You may want to check your bookmarks to make sure they are to the sites that will stay open, shown below. Finally, none of our mailing lists are affected..

Geocities pages were always really held back by the lame format of the host. Blogger is so much better.
