____ was one of more than 20 men arrested in a sting targeting online predators, conducted by the state Attorney General's Office and the group Perverted Justice. ____' lawyer, Craig Haehnel, said his client has been diagnosed with leukemia.

Judge James Robert Redford allowed ____ to wait a week before beginning his sentence so he could have time to arrange his medical treatment with prison officials.

He believed he was talking to a 14-year-old and arranging a sexual encounter before he was arrested. ..News Source.. by Jeff Haywood

Well, well. Here is something MI tax payers should be very angry about:
--Cost of executing the court time and costs
--Cost of putting this young man in prison in a state that is in deep economic troubles with the auto industry. I see, have the tax payers absorb this cost.
--Most importantly--the cost to tax payers for this young man to continue his treatments so he can serve a prison sentence.
Hmm, sounds like a heartless AG, prosecution team and judge. But than again, I guess these people don't mind their tax dollars going to waste, when this young man could have been put on probation so he could have PAR, not SUB PAR cancer treatments.
By all accounts from this article the prosecution team was more focused on a crime than allowing this young man to continue receiving treatments privately with government supervison.

Shame on this AG.
