Obama on technology: He also wants your ideas on technology

4-23-2009 Washington DC:

Obama has setup his agenda on technology at this link on Change.gov.

His plan for "Technology" is outlined there, but he has gone a step further, he wants the publics ideas as well. Apparently he wants to make sure his plan covers all aspects of technology.

Accordingly I urge all Registered Sex offenders and their family members, and advocates to respond to Obama's request for ideas on technology.

It is critical to stick to his specific issue "Technology" so that your voice is not put by the wayside. Obama is working on specific issues, one at a time, and it is important that we provide targeted input as he requests.

At some point there will be time to provide other issues, but for now please stick to his request: TECHNOLOGY!

A good plan of action is to sit down and think about "How technology is affecting registered sex offenders today," and after showing him that, then explain how you would like to see that changed so that it does not have such a harmful effect on lives today.

A plan of action is a far better way of addressing issues, as ranting and raving amounts to no more than a complaint session. Complaining can only be effective if one has a resolution to accompany the complaint.

So folks, today his issue is TECHNOLOGY, draw up your plan of action and click on the link above to have your voice heard; remember TECHNOLOGY as it affects RSOs & Families tody!

Note: Be concise as there is a limited input in the screen.

PS: e-mail addresses, cell phones, computers, would fall under technology as well as others which escapes me right now. If you think of others please let me know and I'll add it here for other folks to see.
