Sexual Crime and Phone and Cyber Sex

QUESTION:

It is illegal to have phone or cyber sex with another adult having to do with fantasies about minors? Or, it is only illegal to entice minors online, or to download and trade illegal pornography?

LAWYER'S ANSWER:

If you are having child molestation fantasies, acting on them or communicating them to others in any manner is very likely to get you locked up forever, or for a long time, followed by your having to register as a sex offender. Assume anyone you meet online is a police officer.
