16-year old Ashley Crisp is thrilled to be getting a cell phone for Christmas. Crisp says she already knows her parents will be keeping an eye on her text messages. "They are paying for the cell phone so it's their right", says Crisp. According to experts, more parents are starting to keep tabs on texting teens after realizing, "sexting", sending provocative, even nude pictures is all too common.

Retail phone consultants like Allison Huthmacher who works at the Sprint store in Mockingbird Station says some parents are getting sneaky. "They are bringing in their child's locked cell phone and asking me to reveal the contents inside and sometimes it's startling". Huthmacher says sometimes there is pure shock on a parent's face when they see racy or even naked pictures of their teenage daughter locked on a phone.

Some parents are even going high-tech to snoop into their child's cell phone use. BrickhouseSecurity.com sells a device called a Cell Phone Spy Data Extractor.
