MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Deputies will be out this weekend to make sure sex offenders don’t make contact with trick-or-treaters.
The deputies will go door-to-door during trick-or-treating hours to make sure that sex offenders are complying with state law. State law requires sex offenders to remain inside from one hour before trick-or-treating, during and one hour afterwards.
“Sex offenders should not give any indication that they are participating in trick or treat activities. For example, having their front porch light turned on during trick-or-treating is not allowed,” said Sheriff David Clarke. ..News Source.. by WISN.com
