7-26-2008 Michigan:
(WXYZ) - A local woman says she was wrongly convicted of groping a fellow college student. Even though a Judge expunged the conviction she can't keep a job because she still has to register as a sex offender. So, do some people really deserve to be on a list full of child predators and rapists?

Maybe someone in Michigan can clear this up. Normally expunged convictions are sealed records. Sealed records are protected from public disclosure by law. Revealing the contents of sealed records, any sealed records such as grand jury testimony, is a criminal offense.
Is there a loophole in the Michigan laws that allows her records to become public, or is it another case of the law is ignored/does not apply when RSOs are the target.
