This investigation reeks of a "thrill crime" to attempt to cover up, in the real sense, sex offender vigilantism. Hence hate crimes.
If indeed this was an attack on a perceived sex offender, which I tend to believe it was, I think the authorities will likely attempt to circumvent the truth as to not "interfere" with current and ongoing hate legislation.
Reasoning for this stems from the recent murder (beheading)of a sex offender which was referred to as a thrill kill by the DA.
The district attorney in that case ought to be in the unemployement line. I can't imagine the reasoning behind using perceived notions, I think cover-up is the better explanation, without having all the facts in place before making "paint brush" public statements.
It seemed the DA was exploiting a way for protecting murder/vigilantism towards sex offenders. I wonder what happened in that case. Anyone know?
